Way Down(2022)

Way Down is an episodic musical series following five queer artists in their late twenties struggling to survive in New York's East Village. Broke and creatively ambitious, they chase their artistic dreams while juggling precarious relationships, financial desperation, and the constant pressure of making rent in one of the city's most expensive neighborhoods. The show captures the messy reality of their lives—failed communication, romantic entanglements, and the daily grind of pursuing passion without a safety net. Set against the gritty backdrop of downtown Manhattan, Way Down explores what happens when idealism collides with the harsh economics of urban life, blending musical moments with raw, honest character drama.
