Basic Elements(1998)

Basic Elements is a period adventure film that spans generations through a single golden bracelet. A prospector is seduced and robbed by women at a local brothel, losing a precious bracelet forged by the town blacksmith. Decades later, the bracelet resurfaces and comes into the possession of the prospector's great-granddaughter, setting off a new chain of events. The film weaves together themes of greed, desire, and fate across different eras, following how one object connects distant lives and unleashes primal human motivations.
