Maynard Ferguson: Tribute is a documentary concert film celebrating the legendary jazz trumpeter's extraordinary legacy. Held in September 2006 at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, the tribute brought together more than 30 alumni musicians who had worked with Ferguson across his five-decade career. Trumpet player and personal manager Steve Schankman coordinated the event with Ferguson's family, creating a heartfelt homage to the bandleader known as "The Boss."
