Thompson 1880(1966)

Thompson 1880 is a Western following Ray, a penniless drifter who arrives in Desert Spring with nothing but a mule and a case. The town is strangled by Brady's gang, who use legal loopholes to monopolize trade and crush local business. Sheila, daughter of a ruined merchant, sees Ray as a potential ally against Brady's control. Though Ray is inexperienced with weapons, a brutal beating by Brady's men ignites his resolve to fight back. As Ray transforms from greenhorn to gunslinger, he must navigate the moral complexities of frontier justice and decide how far he'll go to liberate the town from corruption.
