Tangled Trails is a silent-era crime drama following Corporal Jack Borden of the Northwest Mounted Police as he pursues his partner's killer to New York City. The fugitive is a ruthless stock promoter peddling shares in a worthless gold mine. With help from Blanche Hall, Borden corners him in a Bowery dive, but the man slips away, forcing the corporal to track him back across the border to Canada. During his investigation, Borden uncovers a surprising connection: Blanche and his sweetheart Milly are long-lost sisters separated by time and circumstance. The case becomes personal as justice and redemption intertwine, leading Borden to reunite the estranged women while closing in on his quarry.
