Cerro do Jarau(2005)

Cerro do Jarau is a Brazilian film set in the legendary landscape of southern Brazil's Cerro Jarau, a place steeped in the myth of Princess Teiniaguá, imprisoned in a cave. Three cousins grew up under the spell of this folklore, with the fearless girl among them daring to challenge the legend. Years later, she helps her husband run a nightclub until the new owner's refusal to settle debts forces him into crime. Betrayed and humiliated, she steals the money and flees back to Cerro Jarau, where she confronts the ancient mysteries of her childhood and discovers truths buried in the region's past.
