Rainbow War(1986)

Rainbow War is a science fiction short film that imagines three isolated kingdoms floating in space, each devoted entirely to a single color—blue, red, and gold. For generations, the kingdoms exist in visual proximity but complete isolation, with no way to bridge the gap between them. When a sudden discovery makes travel between the worlds possible, a forbidden romance ignites and shatters the delicate balance. What follows is a war of conquest driven by the clash of three monochromatic civilizations. Created for Expo 86, Vancouver's 1986 World Fair, Rainbow War uses its striking visual concept to explore themes of isolation, forbidden connection, and the destructive power of ideological difference.
