A Pyromaniac's Love Story is a dark comedy about two men caught in an arson scandal. Sergio, a pastry shop worker, is offered a bribe to take the fall for a fire that destroys his workplace. Garet, a hair-piece mogul's son and the actual arsonist, is outraged that someone else would claim credit for what he sees as an act of love. When Sergio refuses to stay out of the picture, the two become entangled in a chaotic love quadrangle with Hattie and Stephanie. The film explores obsession and desire through absurdist humor, as competing egos and twisted motivations collide in increasingly ridiculous circumstances.
