Geronimo(2014)

Geronimo is a French drama set in the sweltering streets of a South of France neighborhood during August. A young social educator named Geronimo works to keep peace between rival youth groups in the St Pierre district. When Nil Terzi, a Turkish teenager, flees an arranged marriage to be with her Romani lover Lucky Molina, the escape ignites a fierce conflict between their two communities. As tensions escalate into jousting matches and musical battles, Geronimo finds herself caught between the clans, fighting to restore order before violence spirals out of control. The film captures the heat and friction of cultural collision in a working-class neighborhood.
