A River Runs Through It(1992)
Nothing perfect lasts forever. Except in our memories.
A River Runs Through It is a drama about two brothers in rural Montana whose bond is tested by diverging paths. Paul and Norman Maclean, sons of a minister, share a passion for fly fishing in their youth, but their lives split when Norman leaves for college back east. Years later, Norman returns home and reconnects with his troubled brother through their cherished fishing expeditions. As they wade through Montana's rivers together, the brothers confront the distance that has grown between them and grapple with questions about identity, family, and redemption. The film captures the beauty of the landscape and the complicated love between siblings who speak more fluently through action than words.
