Psycho Cop(1989)

Psycho Cop is a horror film following Officer Joe Vickers, a corrupt cop with two dangerous obsessions: satanism and murder. When a group of teenagers rents a remote cabin for a vacation getaway, Vickers uses his badge as cover to investigate their whereabouts—setting in motion a deadly game of survival. Part slasher, part police procedural gone wrong, the film exploits the terror of authority turned predator. Vickers embodies the nightmare scenario where the person sworn to protect becomes the greatest threat. As the teens realize their visitor isn't there to help, they must find ways to escape a killer who holds all the institutional power. The film trades on the paranoia of being hunted by someone whose uniform grants him access and credibility, making escape nearly impossible.
