Intermedio is a horror film set in the cave systems along the Mexico border, where a malevolent force stalks anyone foolish enough to venture inside. Four friends on an expedition discover the caverns are far more than geological wonders—they're a tomb of tortured spirits with a taste for blood. As the group descends deeper into the darkness, the ghosts pick them off one by one, transforming their adventure into a nightmare of supernatural terror. The film trades jump scares for genuine dread, building tension through isolation and the inescapable sense that escape may be impossible. Intermedio captures the claustrophobic horror of being trapped underground with something that refuses to let you leave alive.
