The Christmas Shoes(2002)

The Christmas Shoes interweaves two stories set during the holiday season. Young music teacher Maggie Andrews faces a terminal heart condition while her son Nathan desperately seeks a pair of Christmas shoes to give her before it's too late. Parallel to this, lawyer Robert Layton and his wife Kate are drifting apart in their marriage. When Kate steps in to lead the school choir after Maggie's illness, the substitution becomes a catalyst that forces the couple to confront their fractured relationship. The film explores themes of love, loss, and redemption as these lives collide during Christmas, examining what truly matters when time runs short and relationships hang in the balance.
