Growth(2010)

Growth is a sci-fi thriller set in 1989 on Cuttyhunk Island, where a parasitic research experiment promises to accelerate human evolution. Test subjects gain extraordinary physical and mental abilities, but the breakthrough quickly spirals into catastrophe. Three quarters of the island's population vanishes under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind questions about what went wrong and what the parasites have truly become. As the experiment's dark consequences unfold, survival becomes the only priority for those who remain.
