High Hopes is a comedy about ambition, friendship, and spectacularly bad decisions. When Tom Murphy's famous girlfriend dumps him just as his film crew is about to shoot their debut feature, the group hatches a desperate scheme: steal a case of government marijuana, return it to the FBI, and pocket the reward to fund their movie. What follows is a chaotic adventure that tests the bonds between friends as they pursue their dreams through increasingly absurd means.
