Cold(2014)

Cold is a Japanese thriller about scientist Kikuo Himura, who develops a groundbreaking vaccine for the common cold virus. His discovery attracts dangerous attention from multiple factions: a jealous colleague, Doctor Ichinose, who wants to steal the formula locked only in Himura's mind; Dougen, a ruthless operative from a shadowy organization willing to use any method to obtain the vaccine; and a mysterious woman named Sakurako, whose true intentions remain unclear. As these forces close in, Himura finds himself caught between scientific ambition and survival, forced to protect both his life-changing discovery and his own life from those determined to claim it at any cost.
