Estranged is a psychological drama about a woman who returns home after six years abroad, severely injured and suffering from amnesia following a near-fatal accident. Wheelchair-bound and unable to remember her family or childhood, she arrives with her bohemian boyfriend—the man she blames for the crash. As she struggles to piece together her past, she begins investigating why she left in the first place, only to uncover dark secrets her relatives have been hiding. The film explores themes of family betrayal, trauma, and the unreliable nature of memory, as the protagonist questions whether the people closest to her can be trusted.
