Frenzy(2015)

Frenzy is a Turkish drama set against Istanbul's backdrop of political turmoil. After 15 years in prison, Kadir is offered conditional release in exchange for becoming a police informant. He ventures into a sprawling shantytown where he unexpectedly finds his brother Ahmet, now employed by the city to capture stray dogs and living a withdrawn, isolated existence. The film explores their fractured reunion as Kadir navigates the dangerous world of informant work while confronting the distance that has grown between them. Themes of survival, family bonds, and the moral compromises demanded by a volatile political climate drive the narrative forward.
