Tx-Transform is an experimental film that introduces a radical visual technique: transposing the time and space axes within cinema itself. While conventional filmmaking captures an entire spatial frame in a single moment, Tx-Transform reverses this logic. Each frame displays the full temporal sequence of an action compressed horizontally—the left side shows what happened first, the right side what comes after. Created by Virgil Widrich, this innovative work challenges how we perceive motion and duration on screen, transforming a single frame into a window across time rather than space. The result is a mesmerizing exploration of cinema's fundamental relationship with time and perception.
