Envy(2009)

Envy is a Turkish drama centered on desire and betrayal within a close-knit household. Seniha lives with her brother Halit and his wife Mükerrem, whose marriage becomes the battleground for a dangerous attraction. When Nüzhet, the wealthy and charming son of the town's richest family, pursues the married Mükerrem, she initially resists his advances. But temptation proves stronger than virtue, and the two begin a secret affair. When Seniha discovers the infidelity and exposes her sister-in-law's betrayal to Halit, she sets in motion a chain of consequences that will devastate her own life in ways she never anticipated. The film explores how one act of revelation can unravel everything.
