Present Company Excluded(2015)
Present Company Excluded is a comedy about a 21-year-old woman named Chris who sets her sights on infiltrating the exclusive, glamorous world of her wealthy neighbor. Determined to climb the social ladder, Chris devises schemes to gain entry into the neighbor's circle of privilege and sophistication. What begins as a calculated bid for acceptance quickly spirals into a series of comedic misadventures that test her ambitions and expose the gap between her aspirations and reality. The film explores themes of class, ambition, and the sometimes ridiculous lengths people go to in pursuit of status. As Chris navigates the pitfalls of her quest, she discovers that the glittering world she covets may not be everything it appears to be from the outside looking in.
