Dark Chocolate(2016)

Dark Chocolate is a Bengali film based on the real-life murder of Sheena Bora, one of India's most notorious crime cases. Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhry makes her Bengali film debut as Ishani Banerjee, a character inspired by Indrani Mukherjea, Sheena's mother and the accused murderer. Riya Sen plays Rina Bardhan, the victim based on Sheena herself, while Sudeep Mukherjee portrays Peter Mukherjea, the media baron and Sheena's stepfather. The film unravels the dark secrets and twisted relationships within a wealthy family, exploring the crime that shocked the nation and the complex dynamics that led to tragedy.
