Clandestinos is a Spanish drama following Xabi, a troubled teenager who falls under the influence of Iñaki, a member of the militant group ETA. After his arrest for throwing a Molotov cocktail, Xabi is sent to a juvenile detention center where he befriends Joel, a Mexican inmate, and Driss, a Moroccan. The three escape together and head to Madrid, driven by Xabi's determination to reunite with Iñaki and join the organization. The film explores radicalization, friendship, and the dangerous allure of extremism through the eyes of young men caught between desperation and ideology. Set against the backdrop of Spain's political tensions, Clandestinos examines how vulnerable youth become drawn into violence and what happens when escape becomes the only option they can see.
