Beyond Words(2018)

Beyond Words is a drama following a Polish-born lawyer living in Berlin who specializes in refugee cases. When his estranged father unexpectedly reappears, the reunion forces him to confront his fractured connection to his homeland. Caught between his adopted German life and the pull of his Polish roots, the lawyer must navigate complex emotions as his father becomes his only remaining link to a past he thought he'd left behind. The film explores themes of identity, belonging, and the cost of displacement through the lens of a man caught between two worlds. As father and son attempt to rebuild their relationship, both must grapple with what home truly means and whether the distance between them—geographic and emotional—can ever be bridged.
