Naoko is a Japanese drama following two people bound by tragedy and second chances. While recovering on an island, Naoko falls for Yusuke, a graceful athlete, but their romance shatters when his father drowns saving her from the sea. Haunted by guilt and memory, Naoko channels her heartbreak into running. Six years later, they reunite at a marathon competition. Naoko becomes Yusuke's manager, and together they train to overcome the grief that fractured them. As they push toward athletic achievement, both discover whether their bond can survive the weight of their shared past or if some wounds run too deep to heal.
