Project October(2012)

Project October is a found-footage thriller that opens with a mysterious October 2011 incident in Queens, New York. NYPD discovers a traumatized young woman leaving a house in Maspeth, clutching an old broadcast camcorder. When questioned, she cryptically reveals that everything—her story, someone else's, all of it—has been recorded on tape. What unfolds is a chilling examination of what that footage contains, as the camera becomes the sole witness to events that shattered this woman's life. The film relies entirely on the recovered tape to piece together the truth, building tension through fragmented, raw documentation of a disturbing encounter that remains deliberately obscured until the final revelation.
