Zone of the Enders: Idolo is a sci-fi action film set in 2167, when Martians develop a devastating weapon in a hidden laboratory to challenge Earth's dominance. Second Lieutenant Radium Lavans, an ambitious pilot, leads the Orbital Frame project—but the mineral substance powering the secret weapon, infused with an enigmatic consciousness, may control him instead. As the UNSF races to prevent a Martian uprising, Radium must master the Idolo beta unit and harness its power without being consumed by Metatron, a force beyond human comprehension. The film explores whether ambition and duty can overcome the corrupting influence of absolute power, blending mecha action with existential stakes in humanity's struggle for survival across the solar system.
