The Age of Blood is a Korean historical action film set in 1728 during the Joseon dynasty. Swordsman Kim Ho, a disgraced royal guard, finds himself imprisoned in Uigeumbu after his demotion from the king's service. When master warrior Do Man-cheol launches a violent assault on the prison under cover of darkness, Kim Ho is thrust into the chaos of a desperate rescue mission. The target: Lee In-jwa, a condemned rebel sentenced to death for his uprising against King Yeong-jo. Caught between duty and survival, Kim Ho must navigate the brutal clash between the kingdom's forces and Do Man-cheol's formidable fighters. The film delivers intense sword combat and political intrigue against the backdrop of dynastic conflict and personal redemption.
