Fuzzy Settles Down is a Western film in which Fuzzy Jones, fresh from collecting a reward, dreams of leaving his adventurous past behind. He and his partner Billy Carson arrive in Red Rock just as the local newspaper goes up for foreclosure. Despite intimidation from the ruthless Lafe Barlow, Fuzzy wins the bid and becomes the paper's owner. There he meets Edith Martin, daughter of the former publisher, and inherits her father's mission to bring a telegraph line to town. Barlow, determined to stop the project, unleashes his men on local ranchers and citizens. As the violence escalates, Billy shakes off his indifference and joins the fight to protect Red Rock and Fuzzy's new venture.
