Lippels Traum(2009)

Lippel's Dream is a German family film following eleven-year-old Philipp, nicknamed Lippel, whose life in Passau, Bavaria takes an unexpected turn when his father leaves on business. Left in the care of the cruel housekeeper Mrs. Jakob, Lippel retreats into vivid nocturnal fantasies set in the Orient. In these dreams, his father, Mrs. Jakob, and two classmates join him on extraordinary adventures across exotic landscapes. As Lippel's dreamworld bleeds into reality, he and his friends discover they can use these magical experiences to drive the tyrannical housekeeper from their home and rescue Muck, a stray dog who becomes Lippel's cherished companion.
