Eksik Etek(1976)

Eksik Etek is a Turkish drama about a man fighting to reclaim his wife after she loses her memory in a car accident. Nusret, a quiet civil servant, watches helplessly as his wife Nebahat slips into unconsciousness at the hospital. When she awakens, she has no recollection of her past life and flees the facility in confusion. There she meets Necla, who takes her under her wing and transforms her into a celebrated singer. The accident has remade Nebahat into someone entirely new—confident, glamorous, and unrecognizable to the man who loves her. Desperate to reconnect with his wife, Nusret must reinvent himself and navigate this strange new world she now inhabits. The film explores themes of identity, loss, and the lengths one will go to recover what has been taken away.
