Nightwatch is a Danish thriller following Martin, a law student who takes a job as a nightwatchman at a mortuary to pay for his education. When he discovers the mortuary conceals a sinister secret, Martin becomes entangled in a serial murder investigation. As bodies pile up and suspicion closes in, he races to uncover the truth before he's framed for the crimes. The film builds tension through claustrophobic settings and moral ambiguity, trapping Martin between his need to survive and his desperation to prove his innocence. What begins as a simple night shift job spirals into a nightmare of corruption, violence, and betrayal that forces Martin to confront the darkness lurking beneath the mortuary's cold, sterile facade.
