Color of Youth(2019)

Color of Youth is a Chinese war drama set during the Second Sino-Japanese War. In November 1937, after Taiyuan falls to Japanese forces, the Eighth Route Army retreats south to Linfen, a strategic town that becomes the heart of resistance operations across North China. The film follows the establishment of the Eighth Route Army Academy in nearby Liucun, where over six hundred young soldiers undergo brutal training in the crucible of anti-Japanese warfare. Across more than one hundred days, these recruits are forged into fighters, tested by combat and hardship as they prepare to defend their homeland. The film captures the sacrifice and determination of China's youth during one of the nation's darkest hours.
