10E is a coming-of-age film about a 17-year-old girl navigating grief, family tension, and adolescence. Years after her mother's death, Tennie's reputation suffers a blow at school just before prom. Her father Robert, a rebuilt advertising executive, wants to reconnect with his distant daughter. Against his therapist's advice, he enlists his young driver Jack to spy on Tennie's personal life. Academically gifted and mature beyond her years, Tennie sees through the scheme. She devises her own plan: convince her father to find a romantic partner so he'll stop meddling. What unfolds is a delicate dance between a well-meaning but clumsy parent and a sharp-witted teenager learning to trust again. The film balances humor with genuine emotion as both father and daughter work toward understanding each other.
