Automatons is a science fiction film set in a distant future where a lone girl fights a generations-long war as the last survivor of her people. Armed only with a ragtag team of aging robots and mechanical soldiers, she carries on a conflict that has consumed her entire civilization. Isolated and determined, she must rely on her makeshift army of outdated machines to survive against an unnamed enemy. The film explores themes of persistence and loss against a bleak, post-apocalyptic backdrop, following one girl's solitary struggle to honor her extinct species through endless warfare.
