Phua Chu Kang The Movie brings Singapore's beloved contractor to the big screen over a decade after his yellow boots became a TV sensation. Now living in Kuala Lumpur with his wife Rosie, Kang's world turns upside down when his grandmother Ah Ma vanishes shortly after arriving for a visit. Her mysterious disappearance—whether escape, accident, or abduction—sets Kang on a frantic search that leads him to a sprawling old folks home run by the slick CEO Lim Lau Pek. Lim dangles a lucrative contracting job in front of Kang, but there's a catch: he must outbid his longtime rival Frankie Foo for the contract. Complications spiral when Lim makes unwanted advances toward Rosie and Kang is suddenly accused of murdering one of the home's residents. As suspicion mounts, Kang must uncover what Lim is really hiding and whether Frankie is orchestrating his downfall.
