Incomplete Memories(2015)

Incomplete Memories is a drama following an Azerbaijani veteran of the Battle of Brest Fortress who, fifty years after the Soviet conflict, picks up arms once more to fight in the Nagorno-Karabakh war. The film explores themes of duty, aging, and the cyclical nature of conflict as an aging soldier confronts a new battlefield and the weight of history repeating itself. Set against the backdrop of the Caucasus region's territorial disputes, the narrative examines how past trauma and national identity shape individual choices across generations. The veteran's journey becomes a meditation on sacrifice, memory, and what it means to return to war when peace seemed finally within reach.
