Polyot Fantazii(2008)

Polyot Fantazii is a Russian drama about Viktor Buzov, a married man living a comfortable but hollow life. To justify frequent trips to Nizhny Novgorod to see his young mistress Marina, Viktor invents an elaborate lie: his childhood friend needs constant help. To keep his story straight, he documents the fictional friend in a notebook, creating an entire false identity. The deception spirals when the notebook is stolen and a stranger named Maksim arrives at Viktor's apartment, claiming to be the imaginary Nikolay Snegirev. What began as a harmless cover story becomes a dangerous game as Viktor's fabricated world bleeds into reality, threatening everything he's built. The film explores how lies compound, how fantasy can destroy, and the price of infidelity in a marriage already fractured by boredom and desire.
