Conman in Tokyo(2000)

Conman in Tokyo is a Hong Kong action film following Jersey, a skilled gambler from Mongkok, who travels to Japan with his girlfriend Nancy. When a Japanese triad gang attacks them in a restaurant, the owner intervenes with a mysterious card-casting technique that Jersey recognizes as the signature move of Cool, the legendary Gambling King—a man supposedly dead. Cool reveals himself and confides in Jersey about his past: his former girlfriend Ho Yan is now married to Yeung, a man Cool once trusted like a brother. Consumed by jealousy over Cool's wealth and charm, Yeung orchestrated Cool's downfall and stole everything from him. Jersey agrees to help Cool reclaim Ho Yan, but neither realizes Yeung has already set a dangerous trap waiting for them.
