Double Cross is a crime thriller that begins when Jack's reckless pursuit of a blonde driver in a sports car ends in a crash and an unexpected sexual encounter. She asks him to sign a statement claiming her absent husband caused the accident—a favor for insurance purposes. Jack agrees, but the lie entangles him in a murder investigation. With his own criminal history, he faces prison time for perjury and becomes the unwitting alibi for a crime he didn't commit. As Jack scrambles to escape the consequences, he discovers the woman's deception runs far deeper than he imagined, trapping him in a dangerous web of lies and betrayal.
