Amazon(2000)

Amazon is a science fiction film that begins when astronomers detect an intelligent signal from a UFO deep in space. The craft lands in an Earth rainforest, prompting researcher Margot to lead an expedition to investigate. There she encounters Edouard, a naturalist studying the forest canopy from an enormous suspended net. Edouard discovers a naked twelve-year-old girl on the net who claims, in fluent French, to be from another world. As the mystery of her origin unfolds against the backdrop of the pristine Amazon, the film explores themes of discovery, the unknown, and humanity's place in a larger cosmos. The tension between scientific inquiry and the inexplicable drives the narrative forward.
