Daybreakers is a sci-fi action thriller set in 2019, where a plague has turned nearly all humans into vampires. As the vampire population faces a critical blood shortage, their fragmented society schemes for survival while a lone researcher joins forces with a secret group of vampires to develop a cure that could save what remains of humanity. The film explores themes of extinction, power, and redemption against a dystopian backdrop where the hunter has become the hunted. Caught between two worlds, the characters must navigate moral ambiguity and impossible choices as time runs out.
