Fu(1964)

Fu is an experimental film by Andy Warhol featuring performers Rufus Collins, Kate Heliczer, and Gerard Malanga. Shot as part of material intended for Warhol's larger work Couch, Fu stands out as one of only two reels from that project to include heterosexual content. The film remained unused in the final Couch composition, making it a rare artifact of Warhol's prolific underground cinema practice. Like much of Warhol's work from this period, Fu captures unscripted moments with the detached, observational style that defined his approach to filmmaking and challenged conventional notions of cinema.
