Pet is a psychological thriller about obsession taken to a dark extreme. When a man encounters an old flame, he becomes consumed by the need to win her affection. After his persistent advances fail, he resorts to abduction, imprisoning her in a basement beneath the animal shelter where he works. The film explores the twisted logic of a man convinced that captivity will eventually transform her rejection into love, while his captive fights for survival and escape. Tense and disturbing, Pet examines how delusion can justify cruelty, trapping both victim and perpetrator in a nightmare neither can easily escape.
