Stranded is a sci-fi thriller set aboard the Lunar Base Ark, a mining station crippled by a meteor shower. When crewwoman Ava Cameron is sent to repair a damaged wing flooded with CO2, she collects a sample of the meteor for analysis. Dr. Lance Krauss discovers parasitic spores embedded in the rock, but Ava hides a cut she sustained during examination. She soon becomes pregnant and gives birth to an alien offspring—a revelation her commanding officer and the ship's doctor dismiss as paranoid delusion brought on by the toxic gas. When the creature bites crew member Bruce Johns, the horrifying truth emerges: the alien can clone its victims. As the crew grapples with the growing threat aboard their isolated station, they must confront both the monster in their midst and the question of who they can trust.
