Strength follows three young basketball players—Bernabé, Tobías, and Aniceto—in the mountains of Oaxaca as they fight against systemic barriers to build better futures. Under the demanding coaching of Sergio Zúñiga and the strategic guidance of trainer Sebastián, alongside rising talent Gustavo, the athletes push through every obstacle with grit and determination. The film captures how their commitment to teamwork and shared dreams extends beyond personal achievement, rippling outward to transform their entire community. Set against the backdrop of rural Mexico, Strength is a story about resilience, ambition, and the collective power of young people refusing to accept limitations.
