M -beloved one- is a 1990s Japanese series following Ayu, a high school student and model who moves from Fukuoka to Tokyo with her grandmother to pursue acting. After landing only minor roles, she meets Masa, an executive director at record label A Victory, who sees star potential in her and decides to develop her as a singer. As Ayu prepares for her debut, she faces jealousy from rivals within the label while navigating her growing feelings for Masa, who harbors his own affection for her. Caught between ambition and emotion, Ayu must trust Masa to overcome the obstacles threatening her rise in the entertainment industry.
