Tokyo Air Raid(2008)

Tokyo Air Raid is a Japanese series set against the devastation of wartime bombing. When Sakuragi Haruko's father's factory is destroyed in an air raid, Oba Hiroto prevents her from rushing into the flames to save him. Years later, their paths cross again when Haruko works as a nurse and Hiroto arrives as a patient suffering from a heart condition. Running parallel is the story of Boku Hitoshi, a Korean man, and Yamada Kazue, another nurse, as their lives intersect amid the chaos and loss of the era. The series weaves together themes of survival, second chances, and human connection forged in the shadow of war.
