22/7 Keisanchu is a Japanese anime series following Miu Takigawa, a shy girl who works part-time to support her mother and younger sister. When an entertainment company recruits her as a candidate for a mysterious new project, Miu joins a group of other selected girls at a secret facility. There, they're told they must obey "The Wall," an enigmatic force whose commands are absolute. The girls are being groomed to debut as idols on December 24, 2016, as the unconventional group 22/7—whether they're prepared or not. The series blends slice-of-life moments with the pressures of idol training, exploring how ordinary girls navigate fame, friendship, and the demands of an unpredictable entertainment industry.
