Copyface(2016)

Copyface is a Japanese drama series that follows Hirosawa Nodoka, a freelance journalist investigating a cosmetic surgery clinic run by the charming Asakura Shuji. After a plane crash kills her cover, Nodoka is mistakenly identified as Shuji's wife Fuyuko and given reconstructive surgery. Suffering from amnesia, she awakens believing she's married to Shuji and begins falling genuinely in love with him. When her memory returns, Nodoka faces an impossible choice: expose the clinic's corruption and reclaim her identity, or abandon her investigation to protect the man she's come to love—who belongs to another woman. The series explores the collision between truth and desire, asking whether love can justify deception.
